On Sunday, September 22nd, Turkish singer-songwriter INJI (Inci Gürün) took the stage in NYC for a jaw-dropping performance. INJI rose to fame in 2022, when a demo of her song “GASLIGHT” went viral on TikTok. The sound was used by notable TikTokers Charli D’Amelio and Bella Poarch, and has been used in 4.3 million videos to date. Before “GASLIGHT”, INJI had never made dance-pop music, as she studied professionally at the Istanbul University Public Conservatory and made music at UPenn.

Now, INJI is taking over the dance scene with songs “BELLYDANCING”, “GASLIGHT”, “UNTZ UNTZ”, and “SEXY 4EVER”. Her EP, WE GOOD, came out on September 13th featuring Flyana Boss and Nile Rodgers. Not only is INJI a strong vocalist, but boy can she DANCE! Backed by a guitarist, drummer, and pack of dancers, everyone’s eyes were on the stage all night long. The show began with an opening DJ set from Polish DJ, Planet Zuzy, who’s remixes and hits have amassed 4 million streams.
