These two deserved their own post. I have a tendency to fall in love with artists directly after seeing them open a tour. MUNA with Phoebe Bridgers, Charli XCX with Taylor Swift, the list goes on. And GUNNAR and LØLØ gave me that star power energy.
Their differences in music style fully complimented each other in a way that established JXDN as the tie between them. While LØLØ had more of pop-punk style ( even found in her ballads, which I highly recommend listening to), GUNNAR brought the party with a nostalgic boyband pop sound with hints of rock influences. They were, quite literally, the *perfect* match for JXDN’s openers – similar enough to his style with complimentary differences. I can’t wait to follow their music careers; they put on a great show before the main act began!
