Jaden Hossler, known professionally as JXDN, performed at Brooklyn Steel in New York City on Friday, July 12th. A night filled with energy, passion, and great music, the singer-songwriter and TikTok personality commanded the attention of the whole crowd. With the sign “You are Music” behind him on stage, JXDN moved everyone in the room both physically and emotionally. His lyricism hits hard with heavy themes such as emotional struggles, mental health, relationships, and self-discovery. Playing everything from his first singles to new music off his latest record, “When the Music Stops”, both long-time and newer fans of JXDN were treated to a night they’ll never forget. The NYC audience was very passionate about openers GUNNAR and LØLØ. GUNNAR opened the night with his alternative-pop, soulful style. Pop-punk princess LØLØ, who also first gained traction on TikTok, hyped up the crowd with her cheer-inspired hits. When it was finally showtime, JXDN came out under strobe lights, cigarette perched between his fingers for the first song “Stray”.
